| The Defocus CD is released on the 1st of September 2003, and already its been variously described as "Clan Analogue's best work" and "this year's best Aussie electronic compilation" (and it had some tough competition this year, with the Habitat CD already stacking the nominations circuit). Dark Network's contribution is a track originally intended for release on the Nurture Recordings 12" but diverted to Defocus at the last minute.
